🌴Sharing to you our low key 2D1N SIARGAO TRIP 🌴
I am very much excited to travel Siargao even if we haven't booked our tickets yet.
I kept on repeating that I have to visit this place and it must be this year. And tadaaaa! Bucket list unlocked.
After two months of searching for an affordable flight, chasing piso seat sale from Philippine AirLines (PAL), Cebu Pacific and even considered to go via Shipping Lines that has routes from Cebu-Surigao-Siargao. Fortunately, we were able to catch a low airfare.
Here I am very excited to share our Siargao travel.
📍LAND TOUR [PACKAGE]
(P1,150/head)
INCLUSIONS:
• Van transfer from Siargao Domestic Airport to Moonlight Homestay
• entrance fees
• a sumptuous lunch with snacks. 😉
This tour package also include, spelunking and chasing waterfalls. Unfortunately, we were not able to chase Siargao's different waterfalls destination because of the heavy rain, so we headed directly to spelunking.
📍Tayangban Cave
From the entrance to the exit of the cave, you will enjoy different forms of stalagmites and stalactites that are well taken cared by the locals.
I am proud to say that I was able to cross the cave despite of its depth and there’s no other way to cross it but only to hold the bamboo provided.
"LEAVE NO TRACE, DON'T TOUCH EITHER", they might die 😬 A simple reminder to every wanderer because some of the stalagmites are just close to you and the temptation to touch it out of curiosity can take their uniqueness away.
📍Magpupungko Tidal Pools
"Magpupungko" in layman’s term, "to sit".
In this place, you can see rocks formation sitting from one rock to another. Hence, the beautiful rock pools are exposed during low tide. To enjoy it's natural tidal pool, visit this paradise between 10am-3pm (low-tide) 😊
📍Cloud 9
Tagged as the "Surfing Capital of the Philippines". This is the main reason why tourists loved to travel in Siargao. This is what I have waited for so long. Sad to say, we're not able to even take photos and videos while surfing because of these two reasons:
1. We are so much excited to surf and
2. Instructors are calling you for them to guide and as expected, to earn.
For the amount of five hundred pesos, you will have a surfing instructor that will never fail and never gets tired on training you until you can manage to surf alone. When you can do it, the happiness you can see on their faces is such irreplaceable. Surfing is a must try activity when you visit Siargao. #SurfMore.
