WHAT TO DO IN MALAPASCUA ISLAND?
The island is mostly known for its scuba diving adventure. Thus, if you are not into it. Here's a list of adventures you might include on your trip.
 *Lighthouse
We ride on a motorbike on our way to the lighthouse since it takes a long walk from the resort we are staying but if you're in a good company, you wouldn't notice the distance at all. You need to trek to get to the lighthouse and when you're there aside from the ruined buildings, the breath-taking view of the sea and the sun from above is worth the trek. Perfect time to go to the lighthouse is 4:00PM-5:00PM to chase the sunset. Fare is Php40/person for a back and forth. You need to agree with the local to wait for you since there are no other motorcycle available there. I would not recommend you to rent for a motorbike since you are not familiar with the place even me as well. The following are the most visited beaches of the island.

 • Bounty Beach
Show off your beach and summer body to the most popular soft sand surrounded with palm trees together with its warm tropical clear turquoise waters.

 • Lapus-Lapus Cliff
Located at the northernmost point of the island that invites you for a cliff jumping adventure.

 • Diving
There are various spots in the island for thresher shark watching and the famous one is in the Monad Shoal . Catch the sunrise and dive 82ft for a thresher shark watching with complete gears and a licenced scuba diving instructor.
After all the beach bumming in Malapascua Island, ask for the resort staff or locals to take you a side trip to Kalanggaman Island, Palompon Leyte and enjoy a two hour ride to its finest paradise.
